Make your college dreams come true. TheDream.US scholarships are for highly motivated dreamers who want nothing more than to get a college education, but are unable to afford the cost. They have no access to federal aid, limited access to state aid, and they sometimes face paying out-of-state tuition.
We know that our scholarship is an absolute necessity for low-income DREAMers to go to college. But we also know how difficult it can be to succeed in college, especially for a first generation student.
That is why we partner with colleges that are committed to serving and graduating DREAMers. We do not accept unsolicited requests from potential partner colleges.

Our Partner Colleges have a track record of serving low-income, first generation students and provide a designated Scholar Advisor who provides ongoing support and assistance to address all of the emotional, lifestyle, and financial challenges that may prevent our Scholars from completing college.
We are proud to have over 75 Partner Colleges in 14 States and Washington, D.C. All are committed to serving and graduating DREAMers. We also partner with regional organizations committed to the college success.
We focus our work in the states that have the highest number of DACA DREAMers and offer in-state tuition. We select our Partner Colleges in those states after extensive outreach to civic, education, and community leaders who help us identify the colleges that can best support undocumented immigrant youth in completing their college degrees.
TheDream offer two types of scholarships. The National Scholarship is for high school of community college graduates. The Opportunity Scholarship is for students who live in targeted, locked out states where they cannot get in-state tuition. Your eligibility is based upon where you live.
This is for high school or community college graduates. You need to have DACA or TPS status and qualify for in-state tuition at one of our Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. We also offer an online college option. The Scholarship is for up to $12,500 for an associate’s degree and $25,000 for a bachelor’s degree.
This is for high school graduates who live in targeted, locked-out states that do not offer in-state tuition to DREAMers – or bar you from attending state colleges and universities altogether. You need to have DACA or TPS status and be admitted to one of our Opportunity Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. The Scholarship is for up to $80,000 to cover tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals for a bachelor’s degree.

DREAMers are inherently motivated and resilient students who want to earn a college degree and make a difference in the world. Through a rigorous selection process, we select Scholars who have demonstrated the ability to succeed in college and in life. Our goal is to fund 4,000+ DREAMer Graduates.
While our scholarships are generous, they will never be enough to MEET the need. Thus, we use our voice and our Scholars’ successes to advocate for tuition and aid equity for all DREAMers.
We use data to monitor our Scholars’ academic progress, success, and struggles. We track early warning signs to ensure each one is getting the support she needs to succeed.
Our model is working. Our dreamer scholars are exceeding national college success rates. And they are determined to make a difference in the world.
