The Iowa Business and Professional Women’s Foundation, Inc. was incorporated April 7, 1988. Through the Foundation’s education scholarship program, scholarships are awarded to non-traditional students who are already in the workplace and want to attend school to further their education or be able to receive the training necessary for careers in business and professions.
Whether you are just embarking on the adult world or returning to school after years in the workforce, the Iowa BPW Foundation wants to help you. Annually, scholarship dollars are budgeted and awarded.
In 2016, there were 4 scholarships awarded for a $1,000 each. The purpose of the foundation is to promote charitable, educational, and scientific purposes; to establish, maintain and distribute scholarships; to give financial aid to schools, colleges and other institutions of education.
